Snap is Back - ToDoList?

Hi,

I'm back and looking to work! - So tell me; what's important to you?


Here's what I have in mind so far:
(I'll update this post as time continues, for the time being.)

List updated 12-13-13
  • Update MyBB version. (ez)
  • Fix any chat bugs. (Please post these below... Big Grin)
    Known: "%20", "&p"
  • Add new map(s) to the weekly map pool
  • Finish beta.pathery/challengelist
    Replace the tutorial with this. - And resolve the blue-wall bug.
  • Implement some of Wu's client-side JS.

  • Work with Wu in working with a real-time-play - (I haven't talked to Wu about this yet) - Future
- Snap

Chat tends to have problem with escape sequences (like if you paste a URL with %20 in it, it will be escaped into a space and then not work very well).
Also, the redirect page on every external link is pretty annoying to me. What do people think about this?

The beta site has a broken red only block image, and maybe some others too. Also, the mapeditor code is really really broken.

I would love to see some new map types too!

I second a new weekly map!

Also, how about integrating parts of my assist into the main site? Whichever of the features you like: Client-side pathing, solution saving, autosubmit, hotkeys, etc. It'll be super easy (you could literally just source my assist scripts, but we probably want to integrate better and to throw out some functionality) and I'll help out! And everything's been tested a lot - I pretty much know exactly which things are buggy (the wall-placing hotkeys) and which aren't

Re real-time play: I would totally help out with this (and other Pathery stuff in general). We can talk about it some time... my friend made a framework for making multiplayer games that makes it pretty easy to do that I was planning on playing with, but it would be on a backend that's completely unlike your php stuff and would have a different login system that would be hard to separate out. So probably we don't want to go down that route, although I had been thinking about it =P

The gradient background at the top of the page is darker on the main site than on the beta and blue sites. If it isn't obvious, this is a #1 priority fix.

nah, i´m not touching that objective c crap...
thought about doing an android app though. and then a better version which may not be free anymore... >_>
(might have to get snap to agree with that first though)
